Classical Jam, a small Lanark (Ontario) based community string ensemble (we have folks joining us from Ardoch, Renfrew, McDonald's Corners, Maberly, Carleton Place, Almonte and Perth as well), came together under the guidance of Cynthia Carver to learn to play classical music together.  Over the years, the group has grown and expanded the repertoire to include everything from classical music to pop to folk to Broadway.  Our conductor is Ruthanne Fryer, a retired music teacher, who is leading us to perform in many settings for an eclectic mix of audiences.
